Care Access Program (Incl. Entry to Healthcare Training)

 Staff Nursing is proud to partner with a number of local community groups and employability projects to facilitate individuals integrating back into the workplace and seeking out new career paths. We have an excellent track record and success rate in equiping those with limited healthcare experience to develop and thrive in a new career path through our comprehensive Entry-to-Care course. This is open to the general public but conditions apply, and all applicants are subject to interview and entry requirements.

Abbey Centre Lifesavings Skills Roadshow

Abbey Centre joined forces with Staff Nursing's training division Staff Training and Stryker to host the 'Abbey Centre Lifesavings Skills Roadshow'. Commencing in September 2023, Staff Training visited 20 post-primary schools throughout the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough area and further afield during the academic year, to teach 14 students and 2 teachers from each school essential lifesaving skills.

This has been an evolution of our Basic Life Skills Roadshow that started in 2022 and we are delighted that this progam has been embraced and received so well. It is our firm belief that basic lifesaving skills training should be available to every person in Northern Ireland. Not only should everyone know how to react in emergency situations, but they should be confident to apply their skills and knowledge to assist in the preservation of life.
