Registration:
Staff Nursing Care Assistants must have the following:
-
Minimum 6 months recent
experience in any healthcare setting as care assistant/nursing
auxiliary or support worker
-
In-depth knowledge of the role
of a care worker
-
Experience in use of moving &
handling equipment
DESIRABLE:
-
Flexible approach to shift
working
-
Previous experience in care of
the elderly or Dementia/Alzheimer’s related illnesses
-
NVQ 2 in Health and Social
Care
Training must be completed by the
applicant prior to any work for Staff Nursing.
APPLICATIONS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED FROM STUDENT NURSES OR OTHER
HEALTHCARE RELATED STUDENTS
e.g. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY or PHYSIOTHERAPY WHO HAVE COMPLETED AT
LEAST ONE YEAR OF THEIR STUDIES INCLUDING NURSING/PRACTICE
PLACEMENTS
Joining Staff Nursing is simple and hassle-free. Once you make
contact with us you will be invited to attend our Belfast office
where you will complete your application and registration process.
At your registration, one of our Healthcare Consultants will guide
you through the whole process and will assist you in completion of
all necessary paperwork, followed by an interview.
You will need to bring photographic ID, evidence of your eligibility
to work in the UK, and copies of any qualifications and training
certificates you hold.
Please note all applicants will have to complete AccessNI checks
prior to starting work.
You can now register for NISCC with us
since April 2008 all those working in healthcare delivery MUST be
registered with
NISCC
